angels or for a Catholic, even the Virgin Mary. There are evil angels in this world who will come to us when we are expecting a spiritual experience and deceive us. They can masquerade as angels of light. They are indeed real, but they are not from God. The warning is always given that if we open our minds to these occult experiences and experiment then we are not safe. Once our minds have been opened to the occult it is very hard to close those channels completely, if ever. There is often a weakness left and the strength of our will, the choosing power of our mind, remains weakened. It is this choosing power that God needs us to use, for us to find Him fully.
When Satan was cast out of heaven he took with him a third of the angels of heaven. Thousands and thousands of them. They had followed in Satan’s rebellion against God. This means that there are two angels remaining in heaven working for God, for every one that is on this earth to tempt and annoy and to try to take us away from God. It is those on earth that can come to us as ghosts or dead relatives and say they have messages from them for us. They say ’There is no death.’ They are lying even if what they say is convincing. God says that the dead are sleeping till the resurrection. ’The dead know not anything.’ But the angels are powerful beings and they can use their skills to deceive us into distrusting the word of God. We believe our senses over what the Bible tells us about death and beyond. Deception is the whole purpose of evil angels, not to bring you comfort. They do not have your good in their purposes. They want you to be caught in their rebellion against God. The further you follow them the deeper and darker the situation becomes, and there is little hope of escape from the net. It is a trap for your feet.
So many have died lonely and friendless because of what their experiences have done to their minds, with many committing suicides. The Fox sisters who started all today’s belief in spirits in 1848 died in miserable circumstances and yet they were the leading influences for evil angels. Helena Blavatska the ‘midwife’ of today’s esoteric teachings and Annie Besant, and Hitler, who followed them in the occult, and others, all died with little human love or peace of heart. There was no reward for them. The devil is an angel of destruction. They were used and mentally abused, like puppets serving a purpose for evil. God is a God of light and life and cheer. |
