If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
This verse sums up the complete Bible picture of ‘death and beyond’ for the person who is faithful and obedient to God. There is life to come, but there is first a sleep of death. The Second Coming of Jesus is the time when Jesus returns to call to life those that sleep in Jesus, wherever they are in the world. The Bible gives us the example of Daniel. The purpose of His Coming is to keep His promise to gather His sons and daughters from the earth and take them home to the mansions He has prepared for them. At this time, we shall be changed into something glorious and we will receive the promised reward of eternal life.

Behold I come quickly and My reward is with Me to give every man according as his work shall be.’

Revelation 22:12.
